Using v0.8.0 of SceneJS

The Earth can be placed in 12 different positions in it's orbit around the Sun. The positions are monthly and are at approximately equal date intervals centered around the equinox and solstice dates of dates Jun 21 Sep 23. Dec 22, and Mar 20 in the year 2010. You can change your viewing location and perspective and the selected surface location using the arrow keys. Learn more about this prototype here.

Drag with the mouse or use the arrow keys to rotate left-right or up-down.
Use the control key along with the up or down arrow keys to move closer or further away.
Use the shift key along with the left or right arrow keys to change the direction you are facing.
Use the alt or option key along with the arrows keys to adjust the selected surface location.
